Black Christian Voters and 2020

The American left is giddy about Oprah running for president in 2020. White America naively thought electing a black president would end them being called racist. But Obama and his minions used his skin color as a bludgeon to beat into submission and silence anyone who opposed him behaving as our king, ignoring laws and the Constitution. Republicans sheepishly complied.

President Oprah would have two bludgeons to beat the American people into submission; her race and gender. Anyone who opposes Queen Oprah implementing her far-left racial socialist/progressive agenda will be high-tech flogged and lynched.

Hopefully, voters will say to leftists, “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. We fell for your Trojan Horse, Obama. We will not fall for another leftist fanatic, Oprah.”

Will black Christians betray Christ to support Oprah the way they did Obama? Black preachers who preached against homosexuality and abortion for decades reversed their opinions to support Obama.

Under Obama, my brother said that his black church hired attorneys to fight government attacking their religious liberty. His congregation loves Democrats and hate Republicans. My brother is fearless regarding speaking his mind. He told church board members their behavior was insane. He said voting for Democrats is like giving your enemies hammers to hit you in the head and then purchasing helmets to protect yourself from them. Board members think he’s weird.

Black Christians are unaware or refuse to accept that Obama was America’s most biblically hostile U. S. president. A black minister buddy of 30 years defended Obama claiming we’re not a Christian nation. Clearly, black Christians chose racial loyalty over Christ.

Will black Christian voters ignore presidential candidate Oprah saying that Jesus is not the only way to heaven? Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the father, but by me.” Oprah said that Jesus claiming his exclusive divinity “would make Jesus the biggest egoist that ever lived.” Sadly, black megachurch pastors will ignore Oprah’s blasphemy, urging their congregations to vote for the first black woman president.

Oprah promoted the outrageous lie that homosexuality is a gift from God. Oprah is a Leftist zealot fighting for an anti-biblical sexual revolution.

Leftists’ believe that childbirth destroys the planet. Leftists’ shroud their war on the unborn with pretty words like “defending reproductive freedom” and “open and equal access to family planning.” In plain language, leftist like Oprah, the NAACP, and the Congressional Black Caucus passionately support killing babies to save the planet. Planned Parenthood illegally crops up babies for profit. “Intact” baby heads sell at premium prices.

Planned Parenthood was founded by racist Margaret Sanger to exterminate blacks because she thought them inferior and a menace to society.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s niece, Dr. Alveda King, along with other black Christians, are exposing Planned Parenthood’s war on black babies. Why are 79% of Planned Parenthood clinics located in minority communities? Black abortions are disproportionately high. Blacks are only 13% of the population. And yet, 30% of aborted babies are black.

Since 1973, over 60 million babies have been aborted; over one third of them black — stealth black genocide. Oprah places her leftist ideology above the best interest of black Americans. Oprah’s Democrats fight to prevent Congress from giving Planned Parenthood $500 million a year to kill black babies. Pro-life advocates want that $500 mil given to women clinics that do not perform adoptions. Non-abortion clinics outnumber Planned Parenthood 20 to 1. More black babies will die if Oprah is elected.

Even black leftist Tavis Smiley admitted that blacks moved backwards under Obama. Under Trump, black unemployment dropped to an historical low. Oprah and fake news persist in insidiously attempting to brand Trump racist. Oprah’s presidency would harm blacks — killing jobs by reinstating Obama’s absurd environmental regulations and punishing taxes.

I remember black Americans, despite overwhelming evidence of his guilt, shamefully celebrating OJ getting away with practically beheading the mother of his children. Despite Obama’s unprecedented attacks on religious liberty and policies harmful to blacks, blacks still overwhelmingly worship Obama. Therefore, I doubt that Oprah undeifying Jesus, her Leftist policies sure to harm blacks economically, nor her support for black genocide will impact black’s blind loyalty to her skin color in 2020.

The Ascension of the DC Swamp Creatures

Why are so many of the people who have risen to the top of our government institutions, those who become the leaders or directors of our alphabet agencies, so imperious, so devious, so malevolent, so lacking in character and so disdainful of the American people?  How is it that people of good character no longer want to work for the government or run for elective office?   The answer: because it is not just a swamp, it is a toxic, venomous morass of self-serving lowlifes.

Consider the people we have come to know a bit about:  Lois Lerner — she was proud and happy to sabotage the non-profit  status of every conservative group who applied for it throughout the Obama administration.  She pled the 5th Amendment when testifying before Congress and walked away with a very generous pension.  John Koskinen, her boss, was even more overtly dismissive of the law when he appeared before Congress.  It was under his leadership that thousands back-up tapes and emails mysteriously disappeared.  He retired without suffering any consequences of his illegal bad acts.

Obama’s cabinet amounted to a host of above-the-law narcissists who were invested only in keeping their own powerful positions and pensions and in punishing the people and groups they loathed.  Eric Holder, Obama’s “wingman,” was the only attorney general ever to be held in contempt of Congress.  He orchestrated the gun-running scheme called Fast and Furious.  He, with Obama’s imprimatur, let guns be sold to drug cartels in the US so that our Second Amendment could be blamed when hundreds of innocent Mexicans would be killed (which they were).   This was the man who told his DOJ that he would not prosecute any of “his people,” even the Black Panthers who intimidated voters with baseball bats in Philadelphia.

Then there is Ben Rhodes, the boy wonder who claimed credit for the terrible Iran deal and joked about how easy it was to manipulate the “echo chamber” that is the media.   There is Valerie Jarrett, Obama’s  consigliere who ran the show and Jonathan Gruber who bragged about pulling the Obamacare wool over the stupid public’s eyes. Loretta Lynch was another willing tool of the administration.  She sacrificed her reputation, her legacy, for a shot at the AG job in a Clinton administration.  She sold out like the rest of them.  Power and phony prestige was more important than character or the law to all of these people.

Now we know that the whole of the DC swamp is full of such people.  The “7th floor” of the FBI, where the bigwigs plot their schemes, is shot through with pompous swells who delight in their own power to destroy, like small children knocking down another kid’s sandcastle.  Comey, McCabe, Rosenstein, Yates, Preistap, and company are each and every one saboteurs of our formerly democratic republic.

They decided the corrupt but known-quantity Clintons should again inhabit the White House and not the outsider Trump.

They felt completely comfortable spying on innocent Americans, ruining the lives of some of them, like Carter Page and Michael Flynn.

They were willing to fabricate any and all manner of lies, even a “dossier” created by Clinton operatives and laundered to appear as though it came from Russia, to  take Trump down and out.

Not one of them likely asked “Do you know how many different kinds of laws we’ve broken?” as the characters in the film Dave had the awareness to ponder.  This bunch never questioned the rightness of their plans.  The Strzok/Page texts prove that beyond doubt.  They feel entitled to annihilate any person or group  they deplore.

And then there is James Clapper and John Brennan, addle-brained but as vengeful as they come.  They have a hard time keeping their stories straight and so are the Laurel and Hardy of the NSA and CIA.  They both lie with such ease it boggles the mind, and yet neither of them has been charged with perjury or obstruction.  Both of them should be imprisoned at Guantanamo for their crimes against this nation.   Congressman Adam Schiff is so manically obsessed with taking Trump down that he was easily pranked by a couple of Russian comedians.  And he accuses Trump of collusion!

How on earth did such men and women reach the highest levels of power in our once-democratic government?  Under Obama the government was weaponized at the highest levels of every agency:   IRS, EPA, HUD, FDA, FEC, FCC, DNI, DOD, and other acronyms too obscure to recognize, but wielding enormous power over mere citizens.

Over eight years, these agencies generated hundreds of thousands of new, un-legislated regulations that were an effective stranglehold on the American economy.  Trump is undoing all of this terrible damage, bit by bit, agency by agency. He got a measure of tax reform passed, which is already reaping rewards for those who need jobs or better jobs.

He is unleashing the economy and it is booming.  And the left hates him for it.  They actually do hate him more than they love their country.  One only had to watch them refuse to applaud any person or anything positive at the SOTU to observe how insufferable Pelosi, Schumer  and their  mind-numbed acolytes truly are.

While corruption has always been part of the inhuman condition among the denizens of DC, the level of that corruption grew under the Bill Clinton presidency and exploded under the Obama administration.  Obama and Hillary are both students of Saul Alinsky.  They adhere to those Rules for Radicals and have little patience for the well-designed chaos of our meant-to-be Constitutional Republic.  They have no patience for the needs and wants of regular Americans for whom they have only contempt.

Nancy Pelosi talked herself to near-death on Wednesday on behalf of the millions of illegal immigrant “dreamers” she values over and above any legal citizen.  The woman is demented.  Never once has she expressed compassion for the families who have lost loved ones to the crimes of illegal alien criminals.  They are insignificant casualties of her open borders mania.  Seventy percent of Americans want legal immigration based on merit, and they want border security and an end to chain migration.  They want the wall.

Perhaps because in the real world of industry, service, manufacturing, agriculture, entertainment, food production, and other productive enterprise, character and diligence are  the  keys to success.  Talent and expertise are crucial, as is a work ethic.  These are the qualities that are quintessentially American across the board in all walks of life — except government!  These are the values that have built this country.

While there are more than a few talented men and women of character in government, they are still the exception in the upper echelons,  not the rule.  There are even fewer men and women of character in the mainstream media, which is why we are blessed to have so many reliable internet news outlets aside from ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, and MSNBC.

Far too many of these people, our so-called leaders, rose to their positions of power by default, with other people’s money, people rich enough to buy influence,  or their own dynastic money like the Kennedys.  How can men and women of fine character and an aptitude for leadership go up against candidates funded by an evil man like George Soros?  They cannot.

And so we are saddled with ignoble people like those in the Obama administration and those who remain in the deep state who are doing their best to take out the most consequential and conservative President we’ve had since Reagan.   We must find a way to weed out the reprobates.  Most American are sick to death of the dregs running the show.

The Holocaust, the Poles, and World War II Memory

A hurricane of recrimination has erupted between Poland and Israel. It all started because the Poles are sick and tired of hearing the scurrilous slander of “Polish concentration camps.” That’s Holocaust revisionism plain and simple. The camps were German and Nazi. However, a bumbling Polish attempt to fix the problem via regulation blew up in Warsaw’s face.

What began as a historians’ quarrel gone public has spun out of control into a diplomatic row between Israel and Poland. Jerusalem enjoys the support of world public opinion, Ukraine, and, most importantly, the United States of America. Warsaw initially suffered isolation but now it has unexpectedly found new champions: Germany and Russia. This has a dangerous potential for the crisis to metastasize into the world of military geopolitics, thus endangering the Western system of alliances, NATO in particular.

Washington concurs with Israel’s fears that Poland wants to thwart academic freedom and cover up real and imagined Polish wartime crimes. Kiev, meanwhile, has joined the anti-Warsaw bandwagon to object to Poland’s condemnation of Ukrainian integral nationalism and its leader Stephan Bandera and his followers, whom the Poles hold responsible for ethnic cleansing and genocide during World War II. On the other hand, Russia’s largest political party predictably supports Poland because of its opposition to Ukraine’s extreme nationalists. And Germany has stepped in unexpectedly to admit that, indeed, the term “Polish concentration camps” is quite unfair and inaccurate.

The disparate stances have been amplified in editorial pages and social media all over the world. On the face of it, the international furor is about an attempt by the ruling Law and Justice party (Prawo i Sprawiedliwość — PiS) to amend a piece of legislation, namely the Act of December 18, 1998, regulating Poland’s Institute of National Remembrance. According to the newly introduced amendment, Article 55a, “anyone ascribing publicly and falsely responsibility or co-responsibility to the Polish Nation or to the Polish State for the Nazi crimes committed by the Third German Reich” will be prosecuted, fined, or imprisoned. This does not apply to anyone who “has committed this act as part of their artistic or scientific activity” (legal analysis here).

To disentangle the legalese: first, the new Article 55a seems to contradict (without overriding) the old Article 55 of the same Act. The latter penalizes denying Nazi crimes (including Holocaust revisionism) and Communist crimes (including not only mass murder but also persecution of dissidents and others), as well as war crimes and crimes against humanity. Second, the new amendment means that no historian, author, or performer will face any penalties whatsoever for publishing or publicizing anything. If so, why introduce the new law? Was it a public relations stunt? If so, it badly misfired for the PiS. Second, one would have to accuse collectively either the “Polish State or the Polish Nation” of collaboration with the Nazis, to qualify as a wrongdoer.

Nobody half-versed in the tragedy of the Second World War could ever allege anything like this. Collectively, the Poles were victims of Hitler and Stalin and not their collaborator. In September 1939, Poland was destroyed jointly by the Third Reich and the Soviet Union. Throughout the Second World War Poland’s government was in exile in the West, a part of the Allied coalition. Thus, since the Polish State did not exist in occupied Poland, except as the leader of the anti-German underground, there was no state collaboration. The very name “Poland” was indeed obliterated and its lands were treated as a Nazi and Soviet colonies. Further, no collective national collaboration was possible since the Germans considered Polish Christians as sub-humans and, accordingly, murdered between 2 and 3 million of them (in addition to annihilating over 3 million Polish Jews whom the Nazis regarded as non-human).

What’s the problem, then? First, Warsaw introduced the law, with a singular cultural deafness, on the International Holocaust Remembrance Day (January 27). Second, the amendment as it stands, alone and in legal context, is confusing. Third, the opponents of the law, and their international supporters, including prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, have misconstrued the law as condoning Holocaust revisionism and curbing academic freedom.

On each count, Netanyahu and others are mistaken, as shown above. Yet, the Israelis fear that under the guise of fighting Holocaust revisionism, Poland would bar studying collaboration of some Polish nationals with the German occupiers. There are, indeed, postmodernist scholars who qualify as Holocaust revisionists since they argue that “the Poles” collectively are “co-responsible for the Holocaust.” That is just part and parcel of modern academia. However, no one has persecuted them either in or out of Poland. Also, the doors are wide open to study individual, group, and even institutional collaboration. For instance, it is possible to study the Polish Navy Blue Police in Poland as much as it is the Jewish Ghetto Police in Israel and vice versa.

Further, one is somewhat baffled by the diplomatic storm because the Polish government had made the Israeli government privy to the intended amendment and consulted with it for about a year prior to the blowup. Obviously, both sides need to consult more.

The libertarian perspective would be to have no law curbing freedom of speech, allowing both the postmodernists and the revisionists to spew their venom, as repulsive as it is, as well as anyone else in between. Such a solution stands no chance in Poland at the moment, alas. Law and Justice likes government intervention.

Where do we go from here?  Everyone should calm down. This includes politicians and pundits. Leave the field to scholars. The Poles have taken the first step by setting up a committee for mutual dialogue, which the Israelis have accepted. Also, the voices of reason have at last, if gingerly, begun to emerge from the hysterical cacophony of tweets, as recorded by Seth J. Frantzman. Venerable Moshe Arens leads the way: “Blaming Poland for the Holocaust is Unjustified.”  Let’s keep it this way. The Polish narrative need not threaten anyone of good will. And no row should threaten the Transatlantic Alliance.

Turkey’s Actions in Syria Harm U.S. National Security

In last week’s State of the Union Address, President Trump noted the great progress made against ISIS::

Last year, I also pledged that we would work with our allies to extinguish ISIS from the face of the Earth.  One year later, I am proud to report that the coalition to defeat ISIS has liberated almost 100 percent of the territory once held by these killers in Iraq and Syria.  But there is much more work to be done.

In light of recent victories against ISIS at the hands of the United States, the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), and other armed forces, ISIS is on the verge of total defeat. Since the U.S.-backed coalition began its campaign against the Islamic State in September 2014, ISIS has lost over 40,000 square miles of territory in Iraq and Syria, an area roughly the size of Ohio. And on the day President Trump was inaugurated, there were an estimated 35,000 ISIS fighters.  That translates into a loss of roughly 96% of its territory since 2014 and a loss of over 97% of ISIS terrorists over the past year.  The Defense Department notes that the remaining territory is mostly barren desert.  To illustrate the dramatic territorial losses of the Islamic State, the U.S. State Department released a map last December.

The Kurdish Contribution to the Fight Against ISIS

Unfortunately, many of these gains against ISIS are now at serious risk.  Erdogan is intent on destroying the primary fighting force against ISIS — the SDF.  The SDF is comprised of about 85,000 fighters including the male YPG militia, the female YPJ militia, and Arab militias, and is a U.S. ally in the fight against ISIS in Syria.  The Kurdish presence in the SDF is estimated at between 40–70%.  The SDF was established at the behest of the United States in October 2015 under the control of the YPG.

Since the formation of the SDF, this Kurdish-led force has won at least 16 military campaigns against ISIS with no losses.  The SDF led the critically important Raqqa campaign (2016–2017) that resulted in the fall of Raqqa as the capital of the Islamic State in October 2017.

President Trump described it as “a critical breakthrough in [the] worldwide campaign to defeat ISIS.”  He added that it would be necessary for these Kurdish-led forces to play a central role in the transition to a stable and peaceful post-war Syria: “With the liberation of ISIS’s capital and the vast majority of its territory, the end of the ISIS caliphate is in sight.  We will soon transition into a new phase in which we will support local security forces, de-escalate violence across Syria, and advance the conditions for lasting peace…”

Turkey’s Military Intervention Against the Kurds

The Turkish military announced on January 20 that it had launched “Operation Olive Branch” in and around Afrin, a city north of Aleppo in northwest Syria. The stated purpose of this military operation is to “establish [Turkish] security and stability on [its] borders and region” and to “eliminate” Kurdish and ISIS “terrorists” in order “to save our friends and brothers… from their oppression and cruelty” and as a matter of “self defense.”

Turkey, along with the Turkish-backed Free Syrian Army (TFSA), and other groups, including Ahrar al-Sham, have been engaged in battle with Kurdish forces in Afrin that have already resulted in the deaths of scores of civilians with reports of as many as 500 killed and wounded. According to Rami Abdel Rahman, the head of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), “Turkey’s only genuine enemy in Syria is the Kurds” and “supports anything that harms the Kurds.”

Subsequent to the onset of Turkish military hostilities, the U.S.-backed SDF rejected Turkish assertions of the presence of Islamic State terrorists. Redur Xelil, a senior SDF official, noted that “the whole world knows Daesh (Islamic State) is not present in Afrin.”

On January 24, Turkish President Erdogan said that Turkey would expand its military campaign about 60 miles east to the Kurdish-held Syrian city of Manbij with a population of about 100,000.  Erdogan announced that “with the Olive Branch operation, we have once again thwarted the game of those sneaky forces whose interests in the region are different” and “starting in Manbij, we will continue to thwart their game.”

President Trump told Erdogan to “deescalate” the Turkish military campaign and “limit its military actions.”  On January 25, the Pentagon warned that “Afrin operations are impeding the task to eliminate ISIS,” accusing Turkey of assisting the Islamic State by attacking Kurdish militias. Erdogan instead declared a substantial expansion of Turkey’s military campaign, saying that they would not only “clean up” the city of Manbij, but “will continue [Turkey’s] fight until there is no terrorist on our border leading to Iraq.”

Turkey’s Two-Faced Approach to ISIS

Turkey’s approach to ISIS has proven two-faced. Turkey is an unreliable ally against ISIS and its attacks on the Kurdish forces could help ISIS snatch victory from the jaws of defeat, harming the critical national security interests of the United States.

Turkey has been slow to commit to fighting ISIS, and its sporadic strikes were often reprisals for ISIS attacks on Turkey.  Claims that Turkey steadfastly opposes ISIS are contradicted by numerous reports, as well as satellite images of ISIS oil being transported from Syria to Turkey.  During a May 2015 U.S. special forces raid against ISIS leader Abu Sayyaf, a vast amount of evidence was collected “undeniable” proving direct dealing between Turkish officials and ranking ISIS members in the oil trade.

Abu Sayyaf was responsible for smuggling oil from Syria’s eastern oilfields.  According to a senior Western official “the links are already so clear that they could end up having profound policy implications for the relationship between us and Ankara.”

According to a May 2015 NBC News report, “…oil and gas sales through Turkey are seen as the second-biggest source of ISIS financing…”  In a separate report that year, NBC revealed that ISIS made approximately $10 million a month from its oil trade, down from a high of $40 million earlier in 2015.

Turkey had long served as a gateway for foreign ISIS fighters to enter Syria, turning a blind eye and even stamping their passports.  This Turkish-ISIS collusion fits a pattern of Turkey’s open or tacit support for other jihadi groups, including Ahrar al-Sham and Hamas.

Turkey Threatens US Forces in Syria

Turkey’s military push against the SDF would be an unprecedented assault by one NATO member (Turkey) against a fellow NATO member (the U.S.).  Last November the Pentagon reported that the U.S. had deployed over 1,700 personnel in Syria to support the SDF.  Erdogan demanded that U.S. forces leave Manbij but was rebuffed by Central Command Commander General Joseph Vogel, who stated that withdrawal from Manbij is “not something we are looking into.”  If Turkey continues its planned assault on Manbij, it would directly threaten U.S. troops. According to UK Major General Felix Gedney, the Deputy Commander of the Combined Joint Task Force to defeat ISIS, Turkey’s military operations place the coalition’s mission to defeat ISIS “at risk.”

Bekir Bozdag, the deputy prime minister of Turkey, told CNN that the Turkish offensive would “go to Manbij” if the YPG does not withdraw.  Bozdag directly threatened U.S. troops, saying that “if US soldiers wear terrorist uniforms or are among the terrorists then… we will see them as… terrorists.”

Resolution of Conflict

In light of the strategic necessity of protecting our Kurdish allies, reports that National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster assured Turkey that the U.S. would no longer provide weapons to the YPG are very worrying.  If true, it would be a show of U.S. weakness.

The United States and NATO must make it absolutely clear that Turkey must suspend its assault or face serious consequences.  This would include sanctions, any necessary use of force to defend U.S. personnel, and exploration of Turkey’s possible expulsion from NATO.

There are already reasons to impose sanctions on Turkey.  For one, its purchase of the Russian S-400 anti-aircraft system requires the U.S. to sanction Turkey and cut off all US arms sales.  In addition, the US should punish Turkish violations of U.S. sanctions on Iran.  This would include a potential fine of billions of dollars for violations by six Turkish banks.

Considering the critically important role that the SDF and YPG play in wartime and the great influence they will wield in peacetime, it is essential that the U.S. continues to exert its influence in support of our Kurdish allies.  That must include full military support and continued arming of the SDF.  The defeat of ISIS that President Trump demands must be realized for moral and national security reasons.  If President Erdogan gets his way, the SDF is destroyed and ISIS survives.  It is essential that President Trump fully backs the SDF and YPG and displays American strength.

President Trump is leading the United States to a historic victory against the Islamic State terrorists. On the brink of total U.S. victory against ISIS, Turkey’s Erdogan has ordered an aggressive air and ground military campaign against the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG), a key U.S. ally in the fight against ISIS, as well as against other Kurdish militias in Syria.
