Cosa Sinistra: The Left as Crime Family

Literally.  Fully.  And seriously.

Let’s look at a few shades of leftist criminality.  I don’t mean the common finger-pointing, where leftists claim that anything done by the center-right is “criminal.”  Like being for tax cuts.  Being pro-life.  Or against illegal immigration.  Voting for Trump was criminal.  The left thinks anyone to its right is criminal.

But most sane people know that’s not true.  It’s hyperbole for the sake of cowing those who hold differing opinions.  It’s a political smear writ large – and, might I say, projection.  Leftist often accuse others of doing what they do.  Not only does it help them feel better about themselves, but it’s a strategy to gain and hold power over others.

In itself, that mindset isn’t essentially criminal.  Maybe you could say it’s a shade of gray or misdemeanor.  But therein lies the first step on the road to where they ended up.  They begin by stepping across a line, and they wake up fully criminal.  Let’s follow the path downward.

The early Clinton escapades weren’t the outcome of being Boy Scouts.  Using political influence to do a land deal in Arkansas, or to gain $100,000 in the commodity market for being the governor’s wife, was a pretty good sign of who they are – as were Bill’s early sexual predations and Hillary’s early persecution of the women he used.

The thuggishness of Barack was clear early on.  There was his land deal, wherein he enriched himself with Tony Rezko in Chicago.  All his political wins came by nefariously taking out his political opponents rather than beating them fairly in the arena of ideas.  Everyone should have known.

They all got away with their less than honest early deals but were awarded more power as a result of their nefarious actions.  The left loved their ability to lie as they skated through the finish line unscathed.

The next big step up the ladder for the Clintons was becoming president.  Posing as the married version of Jimmy Stewart playing Mr. Smith, they simply dug into the seediest side of politics.  Having succeeded in the small pay-to-play of Arkansas, they let it all loose on Washington, D.C.

The Clintons were the ones to begin the full politicization of the DOJ.  Remember when they fired every single attorney at the DOJ, replacing them with their own loyalists?  That was 1993.  Our cheerleading leftist media said nothing.  After all, they were kindred souls staying silent in the face of shared corruption.  Then there was the matter of the famous FBI files the Clintons pilfered, the secret files that illegally gave them dirt (and leverage) on their political opponents.  Yeah, Bill, “a bureaucratic snafu.”  And no, that’s not what it was.  It was simply aggrandizement of criminal power.

They would go on to trading secrets of rocket technology to the Chinese for political donations – a deal that would advance Chinese missile capacity twenty years overnight.  I remember Tim Russert pleading on Meet the Press” for the media to start reporting because “this was really happening.”  Well, they got away with that, too – along with a host of other illegal and nasty activities.

Barack had his share of shady dealings once he hit D.C., but was a bit more circumspect in hiding what he was doing.  Nurtured under the Chicago political machine, the master school of pay-to-play politics, everyone should have known the kind of corrupt monster he was.  Instead, he convinced boatloads of people, and a gullible, like-minded media, that he was some kind of light-worker who healed the Earth.

Under that guise, he was scorching the earth.

He began his funneling of money to leftist causes right away with his “stimulus package,” stimulating and filling the coffers of his pay-to-playmates.  Many of his bundlers simply took money, as they did in the Solydra solar deal, absconding with millions of dollars and producing nothing.  His union leaders scored tons of money.  As the rest of the U.S. floundered, his already well heeled donors were paid handsomely from this illicit mess.  To this day, we don’t know where most of that money went.  Uncle Joe Biden just turned a blind eye.  And no one suffered for his ugly, illegal collusion to steal from the public trough.

Contrary to media and Democratic Parry claims, St. Barack didn’t have a scandal-free presidency.  Far from it – most of it was nothing but scandal, unreported by the fawning press.  It was a time period where the media refused to call out the obvious and many scandals for what they were.  Let’s just say they were kindred souls, fellow travelers, the media and St. Barack.  Friends and bundlers receiving money for nothing.

Fast and Furious.  The IRS targeting.  The weaponizing of the bureaucracies.  Just to name a few.  Heck, if a leftist political fact-check site calls your Obamacare lie the “lie of the year,” it had to be the lie of the century.

Make no mistake: the Clinton-Obama axis was criminal already, pay-to-play was their M.O., and they had gotten away with it for years.

Let’s fast-forward to the heavy stuff.  And this is the stuff that is darkly criminal, no shades of gray here.

The Clinton Foundation.  Clearly, they enriched themselves with pay-to-play schemes.  The reports of Hillary’s dealings as secretary of state with those who paid the Clinton Foundation are legion.  Documents upon documents introducing themselves to Madame Secretary were earmarked by a staffer “FOB.”  This was the sign of favor, the way to get to see her, the way to get favors in return.  You had to be a donor.  FOB, indeed.

Uranium One, the Mother of All Scandals, is typical.  This was a matter of one hundred fifty million dollars, mysteriously donated by Russian interests, who benefited after all the parties in the U.S. government signed off.  Bill’s speaking fees in Moscow were Over 600K per speech – double his normal pay-to-play fee.

The Trump Dossier.  Paid for by the Hillary campaign.  Used as a pretense to spy on the Trump campaign.  Used as a pretense for the so-called collusion case.

All of this is deeply criminal – nor gray, lacking even the slightest hint of another explanation.  And we now know that all these cases are being investigated and have been for months.  We now know there are four separate criminal cases being investigated with Clinton involvement.

St. Barack?  He’s been having a great time partying with the Hollywood moguls, all the while thinking his breee-illiant “insurance” plan to get rid of Trump was on.

A funny thing happened on the way to the forum: all his fellow travelers are being outed.  The cadre of FBI agents and DOJ political partisans: Strzok, McCabe, Ohr, Comey, Brennan, and so many others are being outed for their own forms of, yes, criminality.  Helping with the phony Steele Trump dossier while you are high up at the FBI or DOJ is criminal.  Going to the FISA courts to unmask Trump campaign associates based on the dossier is criminal.  Turning over that information to other higher-ups in the Obama administration – that’s criminal.  This is the kind of thing that happens in totalitarian regimes.

For all those who have been asking where Jeff Sessions has been, let me say he’s been thankfully quiet.  He’s gotten a lot of ill deserved negativity.  But he’s a busy man.  As you can see, so many investigations, so little time.  Likewise, the Republican investigating committees are now doing their part.  And Judicial Watch.  God bless them all.

Sean Hannity calls this the year of the boomerang.

I’m calling it the year of the sting.  The chickens are coming home to roost.  Most of these people are going to jail.  They committed criminal acts.

It took four years to dot the Is and cross the Ts to put away John Gotti.  It may take that long again, but it’s happening, and happening as I write.  As we sit here, the Democrats are suddenly running from the Trump dossier.  They’re all spinning with flushed faces, trying to excuse (or more often ignore) the criminality of their heroes.  The evidence is accumulating.  They are beginning to whine about a “political investigation.”  To all of you leftists who will be running away, it’s not political; it was actually criminal.  And you let it happen with your dewy-eyed worship.  As you pointed fingers, criminality was being done by your side.

We don’t know a lot of the details, but the greatest political sting in history is ongoing.  It’s been dripping out for over a month and will continue to do so.  It’s going to be epic.  And it will devastate the Democratic Party and its base.

But America will rejoice.  Criminals are going to be brought to their knees.

The left indeed has become a family.  Unfortunately, it often resembles the Gotti crime family (hat tip: Larry Schweikart).

Let’s face it: Republicans have their share of corruption, but what the left has become is not tinged with the normal shortcomings of humanity.  It’s become criminal.

Literally.  Fully.  And seriously.

Jeff Sessions's Reefer Madness

Attorney General Jeff Sessions, someone whom many of us consider asleep at the wheel concerning high level corruption at the FBI and DOJ, has woken up. No longer lurking in the weeds while Congressional committees and intrepid bloggers are peeling back the layers of the onion on deep state corruption, Sessions has moved from the weeds to weed itself.

The AG this past week announced very simply that federal law regarding marijuana will be enforced. The left is apoplectic, even distracted a bit from the Trump-Russia collusion narrative and the recent tell-all book about President Trump, which is turning out to be more fiction than fact. Author Michael Wolff should have called his book, “Fifty Shades of Trump”.

Here in Colorado, the liberal Denver Post is predictably outraged over Sessions’ decision, especially since marijuana has replaced skiing, hiking 14ers, and sunny days as what Colorado is now noted for.  The Denver Post editorial board wrote,

“We are unable to see any benefit to disturbing the robust recreational marijuana industry and beneficial medical marijuana care system in Colorado that has for the most part diligently followed state laws aimed at keeping the drug out of the hands of children, inside state borders and off the black market. The industry is paying substantial taxes and licensing fees and creating jobs. Shame on Sessions for trying to destroy what Colorado has built.”

Interesting choice of words, “for the most part”. As in how Hillary Clinton handled classified information properly, “for the most part”? Is that 51-49 or 99-1 “for the most part”?

The problem is that marijuana is illegal under federal law. Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper correctly noted, “Federal law supersedes state law.” It was the last White House administration, as National Review’s Kevin Williamson described, “Who put those views into play in the fashion characteristic of the Obama administration: through executive overreach that undermined the rule of law.”

Specifically it was, “The Cole memo, which directed the DOJ to forgo prosecuting marijuana providers in states where their businesses are legal, focusing its resources instead on organized crime and international trafficking.”

So, the Obama Administration chose to ignore federal law, giving the marijuana industry a pass. Reefer madness and no surprise. Much of Obamacare was dictated via executive order rather than following statutory law passed by Congress.

Colorado’s Republican NeverTrump Senator, Cory Gardner, ran to the microphone even faster than Chuck Schumer, denouncing the decision that, “Has trampled on the will” of Colorado voters. In other words, Senator Gardner is upset that the AG is doing his job enforcing laws that the Senator and his colleagues voted on and passed. I would think he would be more upset if the AG ignored laws passed by Congress as AG Holder did, but silly me for thinking so foolishly of my representative in “the world’s greatest deliberative body”.

Here it is, in the US Code, spelling it all out. Even the US Supreme Court agreed in the 2005 Gonzales v Raich case, ruling that, “Congress may criminalize the production and use of homegrown cannabis even if states approve its use for medicinal purposes.”

I’m not arguing for or against legalized marijuana or the politics of AG Sessions’ decision as that is entirely separate issue. It is, however, interesting to briefly observe some of the consequences of legalizing marijuana here in Colorado beginning in 2014.

Traffic collisions are up. A study by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety found a 14 percent increase in collision claims in Colorado. Another study published in the American Journal of Public Health found no increase in vehicular fatalities. Just because a crash is not fatal doesn’t mean there wasn’t injury, property damage, and cost.

During a similar time period, heroin deaths in Colorado have doubled. Related to marijuana? Or the prevalence of prescription opioids? Or both? And now it’s legal to defecate and urinate on Denver sidewalks. From the Mile High City to the Poop City. I’m not blaming this on marijuana legalization, instead noting how a declining cultural tide lowers all boats.

Despite the outrage from states with legal weed, now including California, AG Sessions’ action is anything but outrageous. Since when can states decide which federal laws they want to ignore? Many states are already ignoring federal immigration law by declaring themselves sanctuary cities or states, as California has done. Ask Kate Steinle how that’s working out.

Suppose states decided to ignore other laws. What if Idaho decided that machine guns were legal? Or if Utah decided that same sex marriage and abortion were not? Or if Kansas decided to remove all speed limits on interstate highways running through their state? States’ rights are one thing, but there’s still that pesky Supremacy Clause in the US Constitution.

Deputy AG Rosenstein made the separation of powers clear in a tweet from the DOJ. “From now on, our Department will not usurp Congress’s job of making the rules. We will stick to enforcing them.”

The solution is quite simple. Congress can change the law. Perhaps they are winded from their only bit of exercise this year, passing the tax bill. Cory Gardner belongs to the majority party in the Senate, for at least another year. Why doesn’t he introduce legislation legalizing marijuana nationwide? Easy peasy. Problem solved.

Maybe not so easy. Just look at repealing Obamacare. Perhaps Senators in legal-weed states prefer to virtue signal to their constituents and donors rather than doing their jobs. Blabbing on cable news shows about mean Jeff Sessions, and by default, Donald Trump.

Maybe AG Sessions did this as a means of kicking Congress to do its job.  Despite his personal antipathy toward drugs, his job is to enforce the laws passed by Congress. He may be forcing the issue, tired of turning a blind eye to his oath of office. Coming out of the weeds to settle this issue once and for all. Let members of Congress go on record with legal marijuana, accountable for the consequences. Whether good or bad.

Even the Denver Post get this. “We now look to Republicans in Congress and Trump — who once assured Colorado voters he would honor states’ rights on this issue — to remedy the situation with a change in federal law.”

Now the reefer madness ball is in Congress’s court.

A Peloponnesian Pep Talk: Trump's Hoplites Storm Washington

Fortunately, in 2017, conservatives (though not all) came to understand that our political fight is not a roundtable symposium or a pie contest at the county fair.  Hallelujah!

We face a leftist enemy who hates us and seeks to replace us with complacent gender-confused pajama boys shaking in fear that they may be shot through a biodegradable cannon by race-baiting rioters into a mob of lesbian sexual harassment lawyers.  An astonishing swath of the right has rebuffed the NeverTrumps with their calls for civility.  This signals that we aren’t crazy if we’ve been acting like troops in a kulturkampf for years.

Five years ago, when I described a certain political battle as “our Pharsalus” or defined certain tactics as “Carthaginian,” people bristled.  “Oh, no, we are going to be civil!” I would hear.  That’s changed lately.

When I attended the World Congress of Families in Budapest last May, one of the plenary speakers even quoted the lines from Ephesians I am often too shy to drop into articles: “Put on the full armor of God so that you can stand against the tactics of the Devil.  For our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens” (6:11).

Hungary’s president, Viktor Orban, hosted the conference, and he knows a lot about this lately.  The gist is, we promise not to shoot or stab anyone, but we will crush foolhardy attempts to corrupt our souls.  And if you steal our stuff, we will get back at you.  Just ask Edith Macías.

Somebody call Pericles’s publicist

Some past wars are more applicable to our current situation than others.  For instance, I can see World War II working as a comparison, but I do not see the left and right as massive conglomerations of forces going at it in open hostility.  I see a lot of strong parallels right now to the Peloponnesian War.

Thucydides’s classic history depicts a scattered, dizzying clash among many city-states with shifting and unclear goals.  Much of the challenge for the players in that ancient war was simply figuring out what they were doing, who their enemies were, and whether it was worth fighting.  Camps within each of many cities were warring and betraying each other.  That is how I feel about our current battle with the left.

In Book II of Thucydides’s history, the great commander Pericles appears and gives two speeches at different junctures.  The first is his famous speech on the burial of the first fallen in the battle against Sparta.  Pericles distinguishes the Athenians’ motivation for fighting from the motives of others.  The Athenians, Pericles emphasizes, are free and fight because they enjoy the spiritual and cultural benefits of privacy, choice of how to live their lives, and frankness in speech with each other.

Pericles understood that what we call political correctness is poisonous.  Athenians would fight all the harder because they did not live under its censorship.

Again, in our enterprises we present the singular spectacle of daring and deliberation, each carried to its highest point, both united in the same persons[,] although usually decision is the fruit of ignorance, hesitation of reflection.  But the palm of courage will surely be adjudged most justly to those who best know the difference between hardship and pleasure yet are never tempted to shrink from danger.

Pericles does not always sound like this.  His words here reflect the heady feeling of a war’s beginning, when the young soldiers are still fit and well fed, the people still not confronted by severe losses.  Grief for the first fallen has more ceremonious hope than one will see in the second speech by Pericles to the people, toward the end of Book II.

In the second year of war, everyone is turning on each other inside Athens.  There are strong possibilities that some are bribed by foreigners or even cowards within the city, tired of fighting.  A plague breaks out.  Numerous rural dwellers have had to burn their fields and then take refuge in Athens among city-dwellers unhappy about the strains and disease.  The particular sickness racing through the Athenian population is bizarre and gruesome, causing lesions and fevers.

While still trying to uphold morale, Pericles scolds the people with these lines:

I have called an assembly to remind you of certain points, and to protest your being unreasonably cross with me, or cowed by your sufferings.  I am of the opinion that national greatness is more for the advantage of private citizens[] than any individual well[] being coupled with public humiliation.  A man may be personally ever so well off, yet if his country be ruined he must be ruined with it[,] whereas a flourishing commonwealth always affords chances of salvation to unfortunate individuals.

In the second speech, Pericles cannot sugarcoat words.  He has to acknowledge that the people are legitimately worn down and want the fight to end.  But he has to be blunt with them that the fight is far from over.  It would be tactless and ineffective to make high-minded appeals to the city’s democratic culture at this point.  His audience is burying loved ones who died from diarrhea and heat blisters, not because they charged courageously into danger’s way to defend the city they loved.

Which speech now?  It’s a toss-up.

Right now, we are where Athenians were on the occasion of Pericles’s first speech.  Our first casualties are being carried to the funeral pyre – Omarosa, Roy Moore, Milo, some of the Alt-Right, Mooch, the NeverTrumps.  Though we know there are a lot of internal divisions on our side, we still feel the thrill of having won so many victories against daunting odds.  We like winning.  Overall, our position looks strong, with the economy picking up, taxes going down, and Trump coming across very presidential.  Now is a good time to give the lofty pep talks about our strong values and remind ourselves that we fight for a good reason.

But keep Pericles’s post-plague speech handy, because it will likely be necessary within a year.

I foresee that 2018 will be like the year when Athens had ulcers and diarrhea.  We are going to see many of our Pericles figures get attacked even by their closest friends and our closest friends.  Greater scrutiny will reveal that some of our allies have been bribed and have hustled us.  Some will be exposed for having not truly fought for us, while others will be smeared in rear-guard sabotage and mutinies within their own camps.  Trump is going to disappoint us with some whoppers at some point – it is inevitable; all leaders are imperfect – and 2018 might be such a year, especially with pressure for him to arm for foreign adventures.

Certain fault lines, seemingly dormant, wait to awaken and quake Trump’s Christian coalition: Protestants vs. Catholics, Calvinist vs. traditionalist, charismatic vs. strictly Bible-based.  There are still strong pockets of gay conservatives who have avoided the disapproval of the mass of Trump-supporters who believe that homosexuality is a sin and will never compromise on that issue.  The latter tension, I have concluded, was fundamental in sinking Roy Moore because pro-gay conservatives in the Trump camp pulled away and let Moore get torpedoed by the NeverTrumps.

We will need the second Pericles to appear, scolding us, slapping us out of our whining, and reminding us that if high principles cannot bind us, fate will.  If MAGA crashes and burns, we all will burn, heroes and scoundrels together in flames.

Speeches to Avoid

With a successful year behind us, perhaps now is the time to clean our rhetorical house.  I suggest we retire the following obsessions so that any emerging Pericles can reach us within minimal background noise.  Since we are in a war, we must economize our limited time and resources, prioritizing efforts that need support now before the GOP may lose control of Congress.

“Conservative Speaker Treated Badly on Random Campus.”  We are decades into the liberal ruination of universities.  If anyone knows something about this, I do!  But there are four basic functions that the higher education industry is supposed to fulfill: training of students, scholarship by researchers, service to the community, and administration of university resources.  All four of these areas are dominated by full-time employees, with full-time conservative employees approaching zero percent.  Guest speakers, whom most students don’t hear and who have no long-term influence on campus, are so irrelevant to the core corruption killing education that we need to shift our attention to the problems of tenure, financial waste, and bogus research.

“Don’t make me bake a cake.”  I wish Jack Phillips all the best in his Supreme Court case, Masterpiece Cakeshop v. Colorado Civil Rights Commission.  Certainly, the Alliance Defending Freedom is to be commended for its fine work in this case.  The problem is that to bring this case to the Supreme Court, our side had to define the controversy so narrowly that a host of threats from the LGBT lobby will be untouched even if Jack Phillips wins: the LGBT invasion of our schools from K to Ph.D., the eradication of counseling to help people get out of homosexual behavior, and the tens of millions of people who are not artistic business owners doing work for weddings and therefore unprotected even by a positive outcome at the Supreme Court.  The LGBT issue is perhaps the biggest flashpoint threatening the explicitly religious constituency under Trump, and the most serious questions are simply being neglected.

“Isn’t it great to see liberal men destroyed in sex scandals?”  There is nothing funny about a wave of punitive hysteria combining female narcissism and angry white-knight mobs.  It’s true that liberal men seem to be the bigger losers in the game of “Sluts or Prudes – Who Will Kill You First?”  After the Foley-Haggard-Craig trifecta of Republicans tarred as closeted gay perverts, we cannot avoid some schadenfreude.  But I saw firsthand the collapse of due process with Title IX, and I know that the mobs are coming for Christians already.  Don’t feed the beast that will kill us.  Spend your time harassing Planned Parenthood night and day until it breaks down and closes up shop.

“Let’s get somebody fired for a tweet.”  I will not defend George Ciccariello-Maher, who was recently compelled to quit his post at Drexel University.  He seems cruel and unlikely to have any interest in defending my job against censors.  Academic freedom is a dead end, after all.  But the general trend of turning into howling lunatics over fragments of language floating in cyberspace is extremely unhealthy.  Make a pledge to stop doing screen shots.  Never rush to get someone fired over a statement.  Let’s try to keep it classy even as the left slithers in the gutters.

Culture wars are wars.  When I go on Twitter, I am going downrange.  I approach my tweeting, retweeting, blocking, and replying as such.

This is still war even if (for now) the conflict is not an armed clash between us conservatives and our leftist nemeses.  As I have elaborated in previous posts, Carl von Clausewitz noted that much of what we call “war” is mastering our thoughts, our troops’ thoughts, our allies’ thoughts, and our enemies’ thoughts.  Of his nine principles of war, some, such as “objective” and “surprise” and “unity of command,” point as much to what goes on in all these players’ heads as to violent conflict.

How the Left Devalues American Citizenship

I recall two powerful incidents from many years ago when I sang at monthly Immigration Naturalization Citizenship ceremonies in Maryland. After the thousand or more citizenship applicants in the room took their oath of allegiance, the grand finale featured me singing my song, “Celebrate America.” It felt good knowing mine was the first song they heard as new American citizens.

On one occasion from my seat on stage, I saw an elderly gentlemen in a wheelchair who looked to be around 100 years old. When it came time for him to take his Oath of Allegiance, a great grandchild on both sides of him raised him to his feet. One grandchild held the gentleman’s right hand into the air as he tearfully recited his oath. The elderly gentleman’s entire family, standing behind him, were crying.

Clearly, becoming an official U.S. citizen was extremely special to the elderly gentleman and his family. Becoming a U.S. citizen was obviously a major dream come true to every applicant. Every month, I witnessed the room erupting into cheers and applause with tears rolling down faces when the immigration officer from the podium congratulated the new American citizens. I cannot imagine these new Americans immediately running out to apply for welfare. I knew the new citizens in that room wanted to assimilate and help make our American family better; eager to pursue their individual American dreams.

In his relentless effort to devalue what it means to be an American, Obama exempted citizenship applicants from a major part of the Oath of Allegiance. Applicants no longer have to pledge to defend our country.

Each month, different performers were invited to open the citizenship ceremony by singing our National Anthem. On this particular occasion a trio of middle school students were invited to sing. When the students peeped through the curtain from back stage and saw a thousand people in the audience, they became petrified.

The emcee introduced the students. Visibly shaking, the kids moved to the center stage microphone and began singing, “Oh say can you see…” Suddenly, they froze and stopped singing. I came from back stage and joined the kids. As best I can remember, I said, “Folks, these kids are a perfect example of what it means to be an American. They never performed for an audience this large. They are petrified. But rather than running away, they went for it. This is what we do here in America.”

The audience went nuts with cheers and applause for the students. The audience, the three students and I joined together singing our National Anthem. It was awesome! Not one person in that room took a knee protesting our National Anthem and country. Immigration officers sent me a letter of thanks.

Obama doing everything is his power to devalue U.S. citizenship and lower the bar of how we behave as Americans truly saddened and infuriated me. By allowing tens of thousands of illegals to stroll across our border invading our country, in essence, Obama gave away U.S. citizenship.

If it is free, it has no value.

While illegals are not official citizens, outrageously, they receive benefits unavailable to citizens — free attorneys, college tuition, checks, abortions, and more. Democrats and fake news media are working to guilt-trip Americans into gifting illegals the right to vote (some are already voting). So, illegals don’t desire or need no stinkin’ U.S. citizenship.

Obama’s illegals have no desire to assimilate. As a matter of fact, arrogant illegals were highly offended when U.S. citizen students wore patriotic images to school on Mexican holidays; calling it insensitive and racist. Remarkably, American Leftists who resent our country agreed with the illegals.

Democrats believe they can control every aspect of our lives for decades if they can replace proud, decent, hard-working American voters with entitlement-minded, unskilled, and uneducated deadbeats. Democrats fill their voters with class envy and hatred for anyone who has more than they do. Democrats train their voters to believe personal failure is always the fault of someone else — particularly the fault of heterosexual white males.

Democrat hate-filled zombies support government controlling everything; taking from achievers to redistribute to lazy losers. The Bible tells us to take care of widows, orphans, and people who cannot take care of themselves. The Bible also says if a man does not work, he should not eat. Democrats celebrate men who will not work. Democrats know lazy losers will always vote for Democrats who promise to give them other peoples’ hard-earned stuff. Rather than inspiring Americans to rise to a higher standard, Democrats thrive on lowering the bar disguised as “fairness.” This is why the Democrats’ and the fake news media’s vision for America turns my stomach.

Imagine someone breaking into your home, getting food from your fringe, turning on the TV, sitting on your sofa, and propping their feet up on your coffee table. Imagine local law enforcement and government calling you a racist hater for not welcoming your home invaders with open arms. Imagine government taxing the heck out of you to shower your home invaders with free stuff. This is the essence of the American Left’s immigration policy.

Despicably, fake news media has convinced many of my fellow blacks that Trump saying he wants to make America great again is code for white supremacy. As a proud black American, I believe Trump desires to raise the bar back up regarding who we are and how we behave as Americans. And for that, I am extremely excited and grateful. Trump’s vision is in keeping with my song, “We Are Americans.”

Trump Crazy? Like a Fox

Hum, ho, the Trump haters have found a new authority figure to swear the man is crazy. Rocketing to fame thanks to the objective media today is a woman with the extraordinary name of Bandy X. Lee.

Dr. Lee, MD, is now in danger of having her license pulled by the American Medical Association (AMA) and the American Psychiatric Association (APA) for engaging in ethically prohibited long-distance diagnosis without even interviewing the supposed patient in person. In real psychiatry, not the imaginary kind peddled by the NYT-WaPo Axis of Lies, psychiatric diagnosis is serious business, which normally involves a private interview with the clear, legal consent of the patient, an explicit set of criteria covered in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM) of the APA, and an absolute guarantee of privacy in the patient-doctor relationship. Dr. Lee violated all those rules, and in the real world (not in the media narrative) that means her career is at an end. I’ve seen licenses pulled for much less than that.

That is presumably why Dr. Lee’s claimed team of fellow psychiatrists has never been named — if they exist. Lee uses the term “we” in claiming that her extremely dubious “diagnosis” (which does not exist in the DSM) is backed by an unspecified group of fellow “experts.” A real licensing board would suspend her for abusing her license to practice for obvious political payoffs, thereby bringing her profession to public ridicule and contempt.

So what are Trump’s psychiatric symptoms?

Lee’s Exhibit A is Trump’s response to Kim III (a paranoid who is never criticized by Democrats). Kim III boasted about the “big button” on his desk, to launch ICBMs tipped with nukes at the United States of America, Japan, South Korea, and quite possibly China, all within range of North Korea’s ICBMs. In response to Kim’s threat, Mr. Trump tweeted:

Donald J. Trump

✔ @realDonaldTrump

North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un just stated that the “Nuclear Button is on his desk at all times.” Will someone from his depleted and food starved regime please inform him that I too have a Nuclear Button, but it is a much bigger & more powerful one than his, and my Button works!

7:49 PM – Jan 2, 2018

To Americans who know Trump’s jargon, his Twitter response sounded like “well, mine is bigger than yours!”

Trump talks and Tweets like that, and his main political motivation is to dominate the 24-hour news cycle. Trump’s provocative Tweets got him elected by giving him close to full control over the news cycle, rather than getting stomped by the liberal media every day. In politics, Trump’s twitters constitute the only way any Republican has managed to dominate the news since Dwight D. Eisenhower. The newsies are all stacked with Democrat activists who will do anything — including suborning the FBI and IRS — to destroy Republicans. Trump has found the answer, and Lee’s current smear against POTUS is designed to destroy Trump’s favorite weapon, the off-the-cuff twitter response, including a typo (covfefe). From now on, any tweet from Trump will be another sign of psychiatric disorder, and Lee will put her diagnostic reputation on the line for that.

In addition, of course, Lee has effectively picked the side of Kim III, a Stalinist murderer who keeps his people in a state of starvation. I would not want to be on Kim III’s side in a public spat — would you? It seems as if Lee has no grasp of politics, either American-style or North Korean. Which is possible if she is Chinese by birth, and doesn’t understand American political jargon.

For the last couple of years Trump’s provocative tweets have provoked the mass media every single time, which is how he won the election and kept his media haters in a foaming rage. Trump does not expect to make friends among his fixed haters, and he’s right. So he treats them like enemies, which is also right.

Those of us who understand how American men talk in ordinary life are not particularly surprised. What surprises the media is his use of Twitter — but that’s also how he gets their collective goat every 24 hours.

Now, either Lee does not understand how normal Americans talk informally, or she is running a political scam, like so many “authority figures” quoted by our mendacious media. In either case, she is liable to be summoned by her local licensing board to explain her violation of established diagnostic ethics. Normally the licensing board will send her a cease and desist order, but this is national politics, and the AMA and APA might just be overlooking Dr. Lee’s nationally broadcast remarks. If the FBI, along with Obama’s DOJ, can crumble in the face of Hillary’s email corruption, what’s the AMA going to do? (They are going to kowtow to Obama, like all the other professional forces in American life.)

When Trump wants to sound serious he goes like this:

To the Congress of the United States:

Consistent with section 108 of the National Security Act of 1947, as amended (50 U.S.C. 3043), I have enclosed the National Security Strategy of the United States.

This National Security Strategy sets forth my guidance and direction for an America First foreign policy and charts a path to achieving the goals and objectives that will make America great again.

DONALD J. TRUMP

THE WHITE HOUSE

Now a competent psychiatrist might have taken the time to read the White House website for Trump’s more official language. Trump speaks differently on Twitter than he does in his role as POTUS. This should not come as news, but apparently the left will never, ever get it.

Hum, ho, the Trump haters have found a new authority figure to swear the man is crazy. Rocketing to fame thanks to the objective media today is a woman with the extraordinary name of Bandy X. Lee.

The Lib-Con Utah School Porn War Rages On

Recently, I reported on the firing of Mateo Rueda, now an ex-art teacher after showing ten- and eleven-year-olds nude “artwork” at Lincoln Elementary School in Hyrum, Utah on Dec. 4, 2017.  Normally I would have let this story go by now, but Rueda continues playing the victim, aided and abetted by complicit reporters; libertines the world over; and, unfortunately, some good people who don’t realize that the media have mischaracterized his trespass.

Rueda, a native of Colombia, demands an apology, even as he condemns his fellow Cache Valley residents as “cultural dead-ends” and members of a “narrow-minded community.”  He also said, “I was overqualified[.]  I took the [teaching] position with an open heart to make a difference in a predominantly[] Mormon community where there isn’t much culture.”  My – charitable as well as charming!  Yet his defenders – who’ve called people such as me puritans, prudes, and even Nazi-like book-burners – should know that Rueda himself confessed that the nudes were out of bounds.

Claiming that the images were among a set of art postcards with which Rueda was unacquainted, the Herald Journal reported Dec. 28, “Asked if he thought the nudes were appropriate for the sixth-graders in his class, Rueda said he did not.  ‘This is not material at all that I would use. I had no idea,’ he said.”  So, honest mistake, right?

Well, that was before I conducted interviews with local parents and reported that after Rueda showed the nudes to the sixth-graders and got complaints, he must have found them appropriate for fifth-graders – because that’s exactly whom he later showed them to.  What’s more, the parents told me Rueda belittled the children who objected, said they might find some images inappropriate but he didn’t (which is all that apparently mattered), forced them to continue viewing the images over their protestations, and said he didn’t care if they reported him.  He also told them to “grow up.”

After I tipped off the Herald Journal that a second class had seen the images and that Rueda was “lying,” as one of the parents put it, the paper ran a Jan.2 piece mentioning the fifth-graders but also printing this: “Rueda said he told the class that they should not feel [that] the images are inappropriate or wrong.”

So do we believe the late December “not material at all that I would use.  I had no idea” Rueda or the early January “don’t ‘feel the images are inappropriate or wrong'” Rueda?  Hey, it is a different year – I guess his story evolved.

Speaking of which, smut can evolve, too – into art.  One of the paintings Late December Rueda said was inappropriate and Early January Rueda fancied culture is the full-frontal nude “Iris Tree,” a portrait of a sexually libertine, drug-using, bohemian woman by that name.  It’s a work the media consistently label “classical” (“Ooh, the rubes object to classical art!”), apparently unaware that the term references Greek and Roman antiquity.  In contrast, “Iris Tree” is an early 20th-century creation by Italian Amedeo Modigliani, a violent, woman-abusing, philandering, drug-addicted alcoholic known for dancing naked in Paris streets and who could be called a pornographer of his day.  (Other than that, he was a peach.)

For those who say I’m confusing art with artist, I have already examined the difference between legitimate art portraying the naked human form (e.g., the Sistine Chapel) and porn masquerading as art.  Suffice it to say here, something designed to symbolically relate theological concepts – e.g., the Garden of Eden – “Iris Tree” is not.  It’s more the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.  It’s one of those Modigliani paintings that, as the Daily Mail put it, exudes “raw sensuality” and is “an homage to the sex he so loved.”

So why are such things deemed fine art and shown to kids?  Because sometimes, the older they get, the better they were.  People have this curious notion that if smut is put to canvas with paint and some skill and allowed to age a century, the X-rated becomes the extraordinary.  It doesn’t help that a Chinese collector with more yuan than brains shelled out $153 million for a Modigliani nude in 2015 or that Modigliani’s works now enjoy art world approval.

(Think this is meaningful?  Read the story of Estelle Lovatt, who in 2007 fooled the art world into thinking her two-year-old’s tomato-ketchup daubs were great works by a renowned, mature artist.)

Speaking of the fooled and foolish, the mainstream media continue writing inaccurate articles sympathetic toward Rueda.  A good example is this People piece, which portrays the teacher as a martyr, quoting him positively as saying the “works” are “icons of art history and human patrimony.”  Interestingly, however, People shows an image of “Iris Tree” with her nipples and nether region obscured.  So the painting is appropriate for ten-year-olds but not for an article meant for adults?

Apparently, People agrees that its picture refutes its thousand words.  You see, shortly before readying this article for publication, I learned that People had removed the “Iris Tree” image from its piece completely, no doubt as a response to my (and others’) having called them out on hypocrisy via Twitter.  Ah, but you know the internet – archiving and the computer “print screen” function saved the day.  Here’s how the People article looked before the people at People became apprised of their sheer stupidity.

Maybe it’s predictable that a media outlet would blur an image when it has already blurred the line between good and bad journalism.  But I’d still like to know why People is unwilling to show, in its entirety, a painting that it states “[m]illions of people worldwide have marveled at.”  What are you afraid of, dear editors?  That kids may see it?

Oh, wait…
