Vice President Mike Pence swore in the first two members of President Trump’s Cabinet Friday evening: retired Gen. James Mattis as defense secretary and John Kelly as homeland security secretary.

The ceremonies took place in the Ceremonial Office in the Eisenhower Executive Office building on the White House grounds after the conclusion of the inauguration parade.

Both Mattis and Kelly were confirmed by the full Senate earlier in the day.

Trump also issued a memo to all agencies requesting that they begin to “ease the burden of Obamacare.”
