Star anchor Megyn Kelly is leaving the Fox News for network television, according to a new report.

Kelly, who hosts her own primetime show on Fox, is reportedly heading to NBC News to host a daytime news program. She will also host a Sunday night show and participate in special programming, according to the New York Times.

Spokespersons for Fox News did not return a request for comment from the Washington Examiner.

Kelly’s reported departure comes after months of her publicly stating that she was considering a move and after an election year that saw her at the center of an uncomfortable feud with then-Republican nominee Donald Trump.

The move will upset Fox’s primetime schedule, which has seen few changes since the cable channel launched in 1996. Kelly has been with Fox for 12 years, first reporting on Washington, then hosting her own daytime show before she got her primetime “Kelly File” program.
