Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein served up some “humble pie” to Donald Trump after the president-elect sent out a New Year’s Eve tweet which included a dig at his political rivals.

“Happy New Year to all, including to my many enemies and those who have fought me and lost so badly they just don’t know what to do. Love!”, Trump wrote Saturday morning.

Hours later, Stein replied to Trump’s message with a Twitter tirade.

“It takes a special kind of person to lose the popular vote and boast about it,” Stein said. “Might want to check your sources on those ‘wins’ and ‘enemies,’ she added, with a hashtag for fake news.

Stein went on to knock the president-elect for efforts by his supporters to block her recount efforts in Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin, and condemned Trump’s “phony” promise to bring jobs back to the United States.

Stein also offered a plug to the “Occupy Inauguration,” a movement which she has thrown her support behind. The multi-day rally in Washington, D.C., will begin on Jan. 20, Inauguration Day, and according to the group’s website participants will be “calling for unity to stand against the oligarch and demand representation for the people.”

Stein ended her string of Trump-related tweets by giving a nod to a message from “Kid President,” who said to Trump, “You could’ve just said ‘Happy New Year’. Or nothing. Sometimes nothing is good too.”
