Actor Charlie Sheen extended an invitation to Texas Sen. Ted Cruz to run together in 2020 to unseat Donald Trump.

“C’mon,@tedcruz, in 4 years we can unseat this guy!! You bring the AWESOME, I’ll bring the WINNING!!” Sheen tweeted at Cruz Friday afternoon, along with a “Sheen/Cruz 2020” image of the two men’s faces against an American flag.

“Winning” became Sheen’s mantra during his highly publicized tailspin after he was fired off his CBS sitcom “Two and a Half Men” in 2011.

Hours later, Cruz tweeted back at Sheen, saying, “Glad to see @charliesheen embracing conservative principles, but Americans just rejected another political dynasty.”

The tweet, which contained a photo of Sheen’s father Martin as President Jed Bartlet in “The West Wing,” includes a subtle jab at candidates like Hillary Clinton and Jeb Bush, who if victorious, wouldn’t have been the first members of their families to sit as commander in chief.

Sheen this week wished for President-elect Trump’s death next in the recent spate of high-profile celebrity deaths.
