President-elect Trump accused the media of failing to report the charitable work carried out by his charity foundation.

“I gave millions of dollars to DJT Foundation, raised or recieved [sic] millions more, ALL of which is given to charity, and media won’t report!” Trump tweeted late Monday night.

He added in another tweet: “The DJT Foundation, unlike most foundations, never paid fees, rent, salaries or any expenses. 100% of money goes to wonderful charities!”

The incoming Republican president-elect is referring to the Donald J. Trump Foundation, which he announced Saturday he would be shuttering to avoid conflict-of-interest issues.

Washington Post’s David Fahrenthold has reported extensively on Trump’s foundation, and responded to the president-elect Monday night.

Fahrenthold’s tweet links to a story titled: “Trump boasts about his philanthropy. But his giving falls short of his words.”
