President-elect Trump is refusing to let up on his criticism of the media, blasting the New York Times Sunday morning for publishing “highly inaccurate” coverage of his presidential bid.

“Wow the [New York Times] is losing thousands of subscribers because of their very poor and highly inaccurate coverage of the Trump phenomena,” the incoming Republican president wrote on Twitter.

Trump also said the Times “sent a letter to their subscribers apologizing for their BAD coverage of me.”

“I wonder if it will change — doubt it?” he wrote.

The Times later shot back at Trump, tweeting a the “fact” that subscriptions have actually surged.

Times publisher Arthur Sulzberger told subscribers earlier this week that the paper will “rededicate ourselves to the fundamental mission of Times journalism. That is to report America and the world honestly, without fear or favor, striving always to understand and reflect all political perspectives and life experiences” in the stories they publish.

Trump’s tweets come after he told CBS in a clip of a “60 Minutes” interview that will air in its entirety Sunday evening that he is likely to continue using social media during his presidency to communicate with his supporters and the American people. “I’m going to be very restrained,” he said.

Criticism of the mainstream media became a staple of Trump’s campaign during the primary and general election. He would often single out reporters at his signature rallies and had previously blocked certain publications from covering his events.
