Donald Trump’s former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski resigned as a CNN commentator on Friday afternoon, according to a report from the cable news network.

His resignation was effective immediately.

Lewandowski had joined CNN in June three days after being fired by Trump. Kellyanne Conway replaced him through the final five months of the campaign.

Lewandowski was spotted on Friday morning arriving at the Manhattan Trump Tower. Trump is currently holding transition meetings for his administration, but the former top Trump aide has not stated whether he was offered a position in the White House.
