In the most recent installment of “Saturday Night Live,” White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer was lampooned for his ‘Hitler’ gaffe while dressed as the Easter Bunny.
As there is always a little truth in comedy, about ten years ago, Spicer really did dress up as the Easter Bunny at the White House, for President George Bush.
Working at the time in the office of the U.S. Trade Representative, Spicer accompanied the former president to the annual Easter Egg Roll.

The tradition of the White House Easter Egg Roll was started by President Rutherford Hayes (R) in 1878.
A member of First Lady Patricia Nixon’s staff became the first White House Easter Bunny in 1969.
